Creative title, eh? lol I couldn't come up with anything neat and creative or a good song to name it after so i just named it.. water lol

I had actually started this about a month ago, got a little more than the outline done and then put it away and while cleaning my room today i found it and just had to finish it. I had found the picture on dev somewhere in stock (when i find who's it is i'll credit them!!) and fell in love with how simple yet detailed it was and just wanted to try my hand at it as i've never drawn water before.

I guess I still feel like i'm in some sort of rut. I will find the perfect picture to pull me out of it though lol

Specs:
:bulletpurple: 8X10 on smooth bristol paper
:bulletpurple: Carbon penclis
:bulletpurple: not sure on time, wasn't too long though.

super fun i've been wanting to draw water but im a wimp to screw it up and ive yet to find the perfect picture but you did a great job

very "fresh", very crystal-clear, very watery. while looking at i speculate: what was thrown in? a small stone? an ice-cube?....

wow! this is so amazing and great, I completely thought it was a photo then read 'I started this about a month ago' and wondered how that could be. haha well this is excellent! :D I don't think i've seen a drawing of water either, very nice idea

very well executed. certainly looked like a photograph in the thumb, although can see the grain when enlarged. curious as to why you didn't blend it more (specifically, far right section) as it would easily become even more photorealistic. nicely done.

wow im so glad i devwatched you in time to see this one. its amazing all around. looks like a photo in a thumbnail. makes me wnat to search for water pictures to draw lol. if i do i will definintely credit you for inspiration! :D
you should do a whole series of them, that would be insanely awesome ;)

Thanks! It really wasn't as awful as I thought it'd be. I was a wimp too. But i figured, "eh, if i screw up that badly no one has to see it!" lol You should definitely give it a try. I found great water photos in stock on dev!
