Well I decided to crawl out from the rock I've been under and submit something. I had started this quite a bit ago but got a little sidetracked when I got engaged lol Needless to say that when that happened the art went on the back burner. But my fiance is now back in Italy for a few more months so I needed something to occupy my time so I decided to bring the art back out. As badly as I wanted to start something new it just didn't feel right to leave this unfinished so I trucked on.
I found this photo on sxc.hu. I just thought it was really adorable. The original can be seen here I liked the way it was sort of bleached out but I wanted to give it a bit more contrast. I thought it was so cute that I failed to realize what a pain the hat was going to be. Half the time I couldn't follow the pattern on it so I created it myself. Actually, it caused such eye strain that I made an optomitrist appointment for june 26th lol I think the old glasses need a boost after that little project
Anyway, I'm a little miffed that the scan made it look slightly blurry. Nobody else seems to see it but it looks kinda blurry to me. But my scanner/printer combo has been on the fritz lately and I have no doubt thats got everything to do with it. I'm not sure of how I feel about it on the whole. I spent so much time on it over the last month or two that I hate to not like it lol I think the little kid is cute though lol And most of the hat was done while on the phone with my fiance so that brings back a happy memory too lol

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
