I have been lucky enough to have a few commissions during the last couple of months. I always like doing commissions. Not even for the money (which is always nice) but for the reaction I receive when I give them the finished product and knowing it's something they are going to look at and enjoy and have be part of their families for possibly years to come.
But being a commission artist kind of puts me into a solitary category. It's not something that appeals to the masses, as generally the picture someone chooses as a commission is personal, something that is significant or special to them but to anyone else viewing the piece is just another
